If you're considering a DHV 2 wing for your XC adventures this season you'd be cheating yourself not to check out the Summit XC. The wing looks like it could be a DHV 2-3 when inflated overhead. The glide is amazing, and it still turns really nice. UP has somehow managed to get more performance and avoid having the wing be a flat turner. Back To Top UP K2 TANDEM: IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT The K2 is a 41m2 Tandem ship, and has a certified weight range of 150-222kgs. Flying it lighter is no problem handling-wise, but as with all tandems, the ground speed does suffer when under loaded. As with the Pico, UP's designers have included rigifoils on the leading edge, to the benefit of durability, canopy weight and performance. The rigofoils on the K2 are on the seam of the cells instead of the middle which makes for cleaner airfoil. This gives the glider a nice shape, and we think helps stability. We are very happy with this tandem, and are glad UP waited to perfect it instead of releasing it last year.
